The Nails

How do I know my size?

Every first time press on nail order comes with a complimentary sizing kit to ensure the perfect fit for your nails.

This kit includes a variety of sizes that allow you to easily measure and match the press on nails to your natural nail shape and size. Each nail has a number on the tip, write these down for all 10 nails and email the numbers to basicwitchnailz@gmail.com

The press-on nail should fit from sidewall to sidewall (the width of your natural nail) without overlapping or leaving gaps.

The press-on nail should not be too tight or too loose. If it’s too tight, it can cause discomfort; if it’s too loose, it may pop off easily.

What do the different shapes and lengths look like?

How do I apply my nails?

  • Start prepping your natural nails by gently pushing back your cuticles with the orange stick and file them to your desired shape.

  • Gently buff the surface of your natural nails with the buffer provided and inside the press on to create a better adhesive bond. To etch the inside of the nails use the small tube etcher in the application kit. This is best used by pushing it onto the end of a pencil.

  • Wipe each natural nail with an alcohol wipe to remove all oils and dust from the natural nail plate. 

  • Once your nails are ready, choose the correct size press on nails from your kit, ensuring they fit comfortably from sidewall to sidewall without being too tight.

  • Apply the adhesive (either glue or adhesive tabs) to the back of the press on nail, then press each nail firmly (angled from the cuticle)onto your natural nail for about 10-20 seconds. Hold the press on nails in place until they feel securely attached.

  • Repeat the process for all nails, and you’re done! 

Can I reuse my nails?

Most definitely!

All nails sets are designed to be re-worn time and time again. To re-use your nails just re-buff the inside of your press ons and follow the application steps again

What are the lead times?

Once I have your measurements nails will be shipped within 10 working days.

During busier periods (public holidays) this will be increased to 15 working days

Cancellations and Refunds

Am I able to cancel an order?

If your order is cancelled within 24 hours you will be issued a refund (this will be minus fees as charged by the card providers)

Any order cancellations after 24 hours cannot be accepted and will not be entitled to a refund.

Can I return my nails?

Each nail set is custom made for each order. Due to this returns cannot be given.

My nails don’t fit?

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all nail sizes sent are correct, refunds will not be given for incorrect sizing.
